Authentic Youth

Authentic Youth is the Jr. High and High School Ministry at Rancho Murieta Community Church.  Our mission is to reach students in the River Valley and beyond for Christ and to develop them into authentic followers of Jesus through relationship. Authentic Youth seeks to practice the Acts 2 model through Crews and Unite.

Acts 2:42-47 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

We believe that we are better together and growth happens through relationship. Authentic Youth is a ministry based on Crews which are our small groups. Our Jr. Highers will participate in Crews on Sunday Nights at Rancho Murieta Community Church from 6-7:45pm. They are split up by gender and grade. Our High Schoolers will participate in Crews in homes throughout the week.

We currently have four high school Crews in homes.

Sunday Afternoon: Kayla Kelly & Kathleen Jones 4:00-5:45pm All Girls

Sunday Afternoon: Katey Kelly 4:00-5:30pm Freshman/Sophomore Girls

Tuesday Evening: Austin & Sarah Bobo 7:30-9:30pm Co-Ed

Wednesday Evening: Tamara Willeford & Lee Field 5:00-6:45pm

We believe that the early church set a an example of meeting in the temple courts. Unite is a gathering for both Jr. High and High School Students. It will take place once a month at Rancho Murieta Community Church from 6:00-8:00pm. We will gather to praise God for all that He's done in Crews, engage in teaching appropriate for all ages attending, and unite through battling it out in Crew Competitions.
